Ok, the poping only comes about when coming down a slope then up a slope.

When she stalls ( Only stalled once.) It's a a dead stop. She will start to shake. Then you can here the rpms going down, and trying to go back up. However they never go back up. So I guess it starves in fuel?

Any more suggestions?

ok, :P so Scott man and i where talking last night and i done a few things he told me :P and i got new plug wires and dizzy cap roto button.

Ok, soooo anyways after i put them on i noticed a wire came loose so i said SHit! ( From the fuel relay....) So i put that back on then another came loose. well wound up all of them came loose... So i put them all back on... Anyways. When i turned they key over the fuel pump didnt go ewwweeeee instead it went
uMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMuMMuMuMuMuMuMu
All nice sounding, and LOUDE! ( Think thats spelled right )

So i took it for a drive.. didnt pop so far went alll the way around the block.. Also didnt shake.

However after about 45 secounds at a stop it did start to pulse back and forth, and it did stall..

Makes me wounder. about the curb idle screw. Ima look for a pic of someones curb idle screw on a cfi. But if any of you mang's that has a CFI might be able to tell me how many notches are showing from either side. it would be a greeeeat help.

O and can someone please clerifi if the DashPot does anything except help the AC?

Pretty sure the dashpot is supposed to help with emissions issues as well. That reminds me, there's a little doohickey you're supposed to use with your Performer-series carbruletor if you have working A/C .... wonder if I'll be needing one .........


Just think, once you get the four-barrel swap ironed out, you won't be having to worry about this CFI junk anymore!

Well i have no smog crap and i have no ac... And i plan on ripping the ac crap out as well... Although it would be nice to have AC one day... Along with working windows hehe...


So the pot dash woldent contribute to my rpms going down but never reving back up. Mkay
