putting on the ho intake this weekend,

i've done it before to my last one so i remembered to label everything now so theres no problems. anyways i had a huge problem with the tv cable. the throttle body bracket/linkage is flipped around,so how in the hell can i fix that? can i turn the whole intake like on a mustang and use the throttle and tv cables from a mark7(i wanna keep cruise)? i read in another thread to take the throttle plate bolt out and flip the linkage. what are you guys using and how did you do it?

Not flip the linkage.... SWAP the linkage off the stock lopo one. Did you check ANY of the FAQ's? It's been explained in detail.

yeah i read to grind it and re-attach with a screw. but the thread wasnt too specific, can anyone post a pic? i'de rather not take my grinder to the thing if i can just flip it and use mark7 cables.

That's pretty straightforward. To use the mark 7 cables you will need to do all kinds of fabbing and moving stuff around. To flip whole intake setup, all the vacuum lines, wiring, make air filter setup, etc. Or take 15 minutes, and swap the linkage.
