I would go mass air and eliminate the headaches. The SD system for a 302 will run a little lean as it cannot adjust to the increased displacement. Never the less it would probably run, just not optimally

I bet it would run fine with mass air, one of those cheater MAF meters, and 24# injectors. SD, dont know if it would deliver enough fuel with the extra displacement. Prob would work fine if tuned, or maybe if the fuel pressure got cranked up, but I doubt it would be ideal.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
