My friend has got a set im looking to get for the tudor and I was just wondering how much of an improvement would it be from an e7? They would be port and polished for around 250 with recut vavles.

if they are 87 and newer heads they are e7's....same as the 5.0 ho
1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

More clamping force since the studs are larger. Requires machine work to do. A 351 doesn't need it, since its already got 1/2" studs.

well guys my plan is to make my car just hit a high 14. My plans so far are a performance intake ( I dont know which one yet) cam(http://store.summitracing.com/partde...2&autoview=sku), heads(gt40 or a good set of e7s), tb(65mm), bigger injectors(21lb),3.55 gears, shift kit and thats all i got so far as a plan. I got a friend who goes to pen college of technology and is certified and has been building motors for a while, he says he will help me all the way through the build and help me tune it and make it a beast, he wants me to make a bbk ssi intake for it but I wanted to make sure that it was a good plan for a build.
