    What mufflers? center inlet/outlet or????

    I am working on getting the exhaust for the town car but am not sure of what type of mufflers I need do I need center inlet/center outlet or offset in/out
    or???

    I believe you need offset/offset mufflers because that's what Vic/GM's need so i'd guess TC's are the same.

      '88 Colony Park, white with wood grain contact paper, K code axle, hose pliers on heater hoses, factory duals, big plans in the future...

      '83 Toyota 4x4, 31x10.50 15, could use a new carb, custom humidifying holes in the roof, mud based paint...

        1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

          Go with chambered mufflers when you purchase a set though.

            As for muffler type i'd say turbo style if you want quiet, chambered for a deep tone, and straight through for loud. I have a Magnaflow which is a straight through but it's got baffles inside to contain high pitched tones, so mine is noticable (not too loud) and real deep. The only drawback is the price.
