it says it's for points and duraspark ignitions, your 90 doesn't have either.. will it still work? your guess is as good as mine

i doubt its going to work. i have a duraspark distrubutor on the 302 in my maverick and it looks a bit diffrent then whatever is on my marq. it says its only good on cars up through 84 anyway and you say you have a 90?
plus its just a cap with a name brand on it, your not going to notice and drastic diffrence in anything. unless you just want that cool red msd cap for looks lol
look at whatever cap they sell in the late 80's 5.0 mustang section. that'll probably be the one
yea 86-93 mustang is what u need......that kit you posted the link to has the oldschool rotor

Thats actually what I use. Accel ones are tan. The one on my car may be a Napa part, but it could be Duralast. Its grey, picked mostly because it was grey and I wanted it to match the stock grey distributor.
