Pics i said i would get.
Here is what it looked like when i started.

Than i took all this stuff off the car.

This is my fuel pressure regulator and return system. the inlet is the bottom closest to you in the pic, the return is strait out the other side of the "T". and the line to the carb on the top...

Here it is bolted onto the car.

the Dura spark box in place of the factory one.

The Fuel pump wiring. Its just a 3 wire plug i cut off the EFI wiring harness, and spliced the wires together.. the orange one goes to the fuel pump. the red one is hot in "start and run". I did not have to add any wires for the power side of the dura spark box. but i did add wires between the new distributor and the dura spark box.(it was a factory harness off a 84 F150) so i only had to splice the tach signal wire into the factory harness.

And last the FINAL way i have my TV rod hooked up. It shifts just how it did with the CFI on it now.

and last how it looks under the hood now.

So thats my Simple carb swap....

Yay! I love the T-setup. I will probably be running something similar for the time being.

Sweet. That looked easy enough to accomplish.

When I first installed an open element air filter on my car, I was shocked at the sound it made. When I went to a 4bbl, there was a major change in the sound the car made.

I wish I had done a 2bbl swap on mine. The 4bbl didn't do diddly performance wise; a 2 bbl would have been cheaper and simpler.

Well I didn't even want a open element. But the stock air cleaner didn't fit the carb. So I just grabbed a cheap 14 inch cleaner. But I just noticed the sound difference from under the hood this morning. I pulled out to pass a truck. It sounded good.
