you can run the explorer throttle body. if you dont care about the egr, just get a mustang egr eliminator, its a 3/8" plate, and install it backwards
tmoss asks alot of questions because he doesnt want to take your money if it wont help you. as soon as he hears lincoln logs, he will most likely say just run the stock explorer intake

He often will tell people to run a stock Explorer intake, as its nearly as good as a ported stock lower. There is a pretty big mismatch in flow from cylinder to cylinder on the stock lower, not so much on the Explorer but its there too. Usually porting will open up the restricted cylinders and leave the best flowing ones close to stock, the idea being to equalize, not simply maximize air flow.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
