Well, I should thought of this sooner. I remember in the one article years ago that the guy that did the V10 swap used Impala /Caprice exhaust. Shoulda ordered that application for my exhaust! less modification...less of a hassle. Costs 100 bucks more than the mustang exhaust I got.

I remember that as well, what size was it? If it's 2-1/2", I wonder if the tail pipes are close enough to use..

Thanks for the info, but the walker 54016 and 54017 are the one I just ordered from Advance...They are a dynomax (walker) 2.5" pipe. Gonna see how they fit, the mustang ones will require too much work. Check this out... definately looks like it'll work on a vic...

Judging by the bends... you may have some clearence problems with the upper control arms.
Keep us posted, because exhaust is one my next projects and I need new tail pipes.
looking at the 2 charts more closely, I wonder if the Impala Mufflers would work as well?

That's what I'm prolly gonna end up doing if those don't fit. But my reason is that I don't trust others to work on my car. But I am not going to make the tail pipes with as many beds as they have in them.Comment
