    vac line sizes

I had this stuff written down when Scott told me but I can't find the damn paper now. I replaced most of the lines the last time I had the plenum off but I'm going to do them again just to be on the safe side when I change my VC gaskets. I will probably reorganize it a bit since it's not too well thought out from last time.

What size are the 3 ends on the vacuum "barb" under the intake plenum?

    How about MAP sensor?

    EVAP system?

These are from my notes [89 MGM], hope this is what you want:

Connector 9/32 OD and 5/32 ID
Hose 3/16 ID and 7/32 OD

White on side going towards firewall and black on side headed towards front of engine
      PatN 3889710

Line from white side runs 34 inches towards driver’s side fire wall and attaches to a black round cap "T". There are three barbed points here.

Line from black side runs 21.5 inches to ??? Might be the gas line purge thingie (my gut says this) or another connector [Barbed connector = 1.5 inches long Hose is 3/16 ID and 7/16 OD]

I am trying to load an Excel sheet started with lots more information (like the MAP) however struggling. Drop me a PM and I will e-mail it.
      Thanks,
      Ringting

You might have it in the chart...I don't have time to check before I head to work....but...

The map sensor barb on the intake of my '87 is a lot bigger than the barb on the map sensor itself so I'm going to grab some reducers. The big hose from the PCV valve to the intake has a plastic 90 in it and also a preformed bend at the PCV end so I'm going to put another 90 in and use straight hose to replace it.

                        FYI

I've found two hoses at the local Carquest that work great for the PCV to plenum hose. On an '88 Cougar I worked on there was an extra "T" fitting on the bottom of the plenum so I shortened both hoses slightly and they worked great. On my CV it doesn't have that "T" so I cut one bend off of the 18304 hose and used a double barb to join them together. The hoses are part numbers 18031 and 18304.
