Any suggestions on performance rebuild kit for a c6. Dont care how it shifts as ill only be using 1st and reverse. I just think I need stronger clutch packs.

Wide ratio kit is expensive. Master deluxe overhaul kit from Transtar industries is about 80 bux. The gears in it are low enough just need the clutch packs to handle the torque better. If the planetaries are fucked when I tear it down Ill get the wide ratio pieces. 3 speed is okay because it will never see the highway.1989 Grand Marquis LS
