The shock factor would be cool. The wiring would be an absolute nightmare. Switching gears a little, I bet you could get the 5.0 into a newer Whale that already has DBW, etc. That would also be pretty sweet.

should be a bolt-in swap on an aero+ since it's pretty much the same dims as a 4.6L. Clearance for the DOHC at the heater plenum would probably be the only issue.

is it possible to upgrade that to a real throttle cable? I've never felt comfortable with the concept of DBW.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Hrm, I dunno. I *think* I drove a vehicle with DBW once. A late model Chevy Suburban.
If it wasn't drive by wire, then it had the WEIRDEST feeling throttle I've ever experienced. It felt very unnatural, and I wondered if it was because of DBW...1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria 2-door Coupe - perpetually "sort of" for sale...
