Upper manifolds are identical between 86 and 91 for Town cars, Grand Marquis' and Crown Vics.

Why? If you just need the bolts?

                  Those can be removed.

Get a beefy set of vice grips on it and unscrew it from the manifold.

If you need more room remove the egr spacer. Get a 13mm socket and remove the throttle cable bracket to ease in the spacers removal. Tap it with a rubber mallet to get it free. They tend to get stuck in place.

yeah. Saves you a ton of work. You dont need to replace all four if only the one is broken.

"Those can be removed." Hahahahaha! Good luck with that shiz, I feel you are better off swapping the upper manifold as that corrosion I was talking about can seize the studs to the manifold. Been working on my HO upper swap and had to cut & destroy my HO EGR spacer because it was all crusted together. Your manifold doesn't look all shitty like my HO was so you'll probably be ok. When at the yard though, just look for the least crusty donor.

If you know what you are doing, you can easily remove the studs. They're all corroded spray the studs with pb for extra help in removing them. AA Good set of vice grips will get them out. I've never had a manifold where I couldn't remove the studs.

Some heat can help with that. Be careful as aluminum will get brittle with excess heat, and it also melts. Propane torch is all you'd want to use for that.
