    Vacuum gauge

    Hi,

    I am looking to get a vacuum test gauge to test manifold pressure.
    Suggestions?

    Any $20 kit from your favorite parts store will get the job done. You can run it inside the body permanently too, then you can use it to gauge your engine load as you drive. Throttle-o-meter in a sense.

      I run a vacuum test gauge permanently on my dualy and on Creamy. The ones used in gauge pannels are not quite as accurate because they are dampend

        Well they're accurate, just not quite as fast in response time. But yeah, I did the same a while ago, just regular test gauge attached permanently inside. Interestingly enough, Mercedes cars of the same vintage have a factory vacuum gauge on the dash... and a tach, and all the other proper gauges.
