I didn't have to change the wiring for it. But it's run off of a tempreture switch to a relay, and it is on key power, so it doesn't run when I walk away always hate those.

My 98 fan is way bigger. I got pics but the stupid camera doesn't talk to XP, and the printer with the memory card reader is unhooked because we're re-doing the office. The top of the fan shroud measures 8 3/4" deep tho If I lay it on the ground, the back of the motor is 9" from floor level.
