{DRIVETRAIN} U-joints (i need help fast)

i got a clicking noise under my car behind the front tires, only when im moving and also a loud clunk when i put the car in reverse or drive. what is it??

The loud clunking is either a universal joint or a very bad rear end. I would suspect the U Joints. Check for play in them
The clicking could be the hubcaps. Mine make any number of funny sounds

i was told u joint i just needed the GMN officials, the clicking is the u joint grinding, now can you tell me what tools im gonna need??? and i dont have the arbor press....

Go to autozone and rent the u joint press.

Sure I may use a few sockets, hammer, and a vise, but I have done this before...

Just keep it clean and don't loose any needle bearings.

Ok, fuck auto zone then.

Go to advance, buy the two u-joints, and rent the tool.

You pay for the tool up front, then you get your $$ back in full when you return it.

there shouldnt be any suprises that ill encounter when changing this front ujoint like i need some kinda lube or special tool right? its just a pretty basic change??? i just dont want any suprises and make 7 trips to auto zone.

just regular auto grease. Watch for fluid coming from the yoke when you pull it out.

I would change both since you will have it apart anyway.
