I hope it's the wagon! I love sedans but watching a station wagon blow the doors off of other cars is awesome.

why go to 393 when you could go to 408?

screw 408, get a World 351 block and go out to 460ci.

and your 302 accessories will work on 351 except the ac bracket.

Did not know that about the accessories. I could keep stock power steering and alternator? Is the water pump different?

Yes, no. Your 302 accessories will work on 351 except the ac bracket, which means everything is the same, except the AC bracket.

More specifically, it's the big aluminum brace that goes from the AC bracket itself to one of the water pump studs that's different - unless I'm very badly mistaken, you'll reuse everything else accessory-related, including the bracket that actually holds the A/C compressor, when swapping from 302 to 351W or vice versa. Can probably make a properly-sized A/C bracket brace out of steel if a proper aluminum brace can't be located.

Well, I guess with the smallish difference that I think the lower alternator bolt threads into the cylinder head on a 351W, whereas on my 302s I've been retaining it with a nut. Seems I didn't need the nut the first time I swapped alternators on a 302 car, though ... hmph.
