Delphi makes a crap ton of stuff (mainly in Europe IIRC). typically on par with every other company we deal with in the aftermarket.
as for plugs... autolite copper runs fine in my 88 and motorcraft coppers in the 93's 2003 engine.
of course... E3 plugs will work a little better, but them things are mighty spendy.

I always check:
Rock
Ebay
Amazon
Local parts stores
I bought Strongarm 4104 lift supports for my 85 and they won't hold my hood up. I contacted Rock and they pointed out (rightly) that I bought them 2 years ago (I just got around to installing them). They also said they've sold 44 pairs without complaints.

Strongarm is a very well known maker of lifts for tailgates/hoods/trunks/toppers/etc.

[QUOTE=porschpow;693370]I just bought a 1989 Lincoln Town car
Does anybody know where I can find good/cheap Lift support shocks for the hood?
I found these, are they any good?
[]
Whichever supplier you use, just be sure you get the right hood lift supports. There is one for the steel hood, One is for an aluminum hood. The steel ones are harder to find.

I know my 89 had the AL hood. I'm not sure if it was year specific or an option.2020 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum (Ice White / Blonde)

Interesting. So now that I have already ordered the ones for an aluminum hood, would I still be ok even if it is steel???? IF!"To Find yourself, you must first lose yourself"

Oh, hell no, if you have a steel hood with aluminum shocks on that you're doomed. A slight breeze and you'll be munched by that if you're bent over the engine bay. Legs sticking out, kicking wildly, if you're not crippled.
Steel is magnetic, aluminum is not, one way to test it may be to take a fridge magnet to the underside of the hood and see if it sticks.
