Mustang Fuel Pump in CFI car?

    Hi everyone,

This past year I have converted my 84 wagon to a mustang HO motor with some performance parts. I have a 155 lph pump to install in the tank but I believe my fuel system has two pumps? Can I just leave the other pump as is in the system or do I need to remove it or upgrade it etc???

    Thanks!!

84 should only be one pump. I don't think any of these vehicles had two, but if you had a second one it would likely be located somewhere near the fuel filter. If it does have one, just remove it and run a piece of steel line to fill in the gap where it used to be.
