Anyone know a source for these? I know all of the excuses but Ford didn't spend time and money to put these in if they are not necessary.

Not sure if this will help you, but I disconnected them and plugged off the hoses. When I do the next big engine mod, I'll remove the hoses all together. I haven't used them in years and see no ill effects from not using them. That might be because I live in Alabama and it doesn't get that cold down here for the need to warm up the throttle body.

not needed. plug and be done. tie the hose from the heater line back to the nipple on the lower intake and you're golden. Did this mod on my 88 years ago and no issues since.

yeah it's for throttle body icing. If it's not getting winter driven, don't worry.

Its to help cool the housing to extend the life of the EGR valve. On mine I actually install a fitting on the opposite side of the intake, T it with the existing one then run it into the EGR valve and back to the heater return tube.
This helps to keep plugs looking more even in color in the rear with the rest. Ever notice how 7 & 8 can look so much different than th rest.Scars are tatoos of the fearless

Which fitting are you after, the one that threads into the lower intake, or the nipples sticking out of the spacer itself? The thing into the lower intake should be 1/4 NPT to 1/4" hose barb. The steel tubes in the spacer itself is cast in i think. I don't expect you'll be able to replace it if it rotted out.
As for it's function, all I can tell you is that when I experimented with it a while back, it made the air temperature at the air intake sensor was about 10F warmer with it connected vs disconnected.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I'm talking about the fittings in the EGR spacer. I replaced these several years ago on my sons car with steel tubing brake lines cut and pressed in but I would rather have the right fittings. If there is no source for the fittings then I guess I will just use modified brake lines to create my own fittings again. AS I WANT TO KEEP MY EGR SPACER COOL AND KEEP THE ERG GAS FROM BURNING IT UP. I know that is why the water is here to cool the spacer as turbo2256b is the only one who knows this. Seeing as my car is a daily driver and sometimes goes on trips for hundreds of miles this is a necessity.
BTW I don't need brakes either, only if I want to stop.
