Has anyone ever messed with those msd ignition boxes. I've read it's suppose to give a hotter longer spark, resulting in better performance. Do this work in a 84? Anybody running one?

The Mustang guys say MSD stands for Might Suddenly Die. Definitely not needed except in extreme situations. Maybe with a supercharger or something, but not a CFI car.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I usE msd BOXES ON 2 OF MY RIDES. Not crazy about their distributors as they have issues wit hwater intrusion. I use the programable 6 series boxes. One thing purchase them from summit or such. Part of their bad rep is there are a lot of knock offs of their stuff which crap out in short order.Scars are tatoos of the fearless
