Good header hardware and fancy gaskets would probably do you well too gadgo. I had the cheap shitty bolts that came with my headers and I did re-tighten them occasionally. They were "stainless" but very soft. I bought the good locking ones with the allen-heads to make tightening easier too. Those will go on when all the new shit goes in/on. Someday...

it wasn't really a bolt problem, the flange just wasn't flat and it wasn't able to seal properly. Once it was machined to actually have a proper mating surface the problems went away.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
