$50 isn't bad. We run AAA's road side service. "Free" towing up to 100mi one way and we use it at least once a year, which is enough for the service to pay for itself. Last time I paid to have something towed, it ran me ~$150 and it wasn't that far.

Maybe it was $50 just to go over the bridge and not $50 total for the complete tow? Don't think anyone is only going to charge $50 to go from NYC to anywhere on LI!

Frank you are correct, the $50.00 was for the bridge toll, the tow was free as I have AAA "Plus"............up to 100 miles free tow.

Btw, the WD did not have any more Raybestos master cylinders in stock, they sent one from "Dorman".

Now that makes perfect sense. Still, with the free AAA tow included, the overall cost was only $50. Pretty good!

The vacuum bleed method worked and the clutch pedal does what it's supposed to do now, all without me having to lift the truck's ass. However, it was like gadget predicted, air bubbles still present in the hose stream, but I rolled the dice by thinking they were caused by the bleeder screw and for once I was right. I think I'd do things a bit differently next time to avoid brake fluid in the eye.

Also hopefully fixed the interior leaks with more sealer schmoo in the cowl area. This is what I used, hopefully it holds up for awhile:

So i picked up the car after two weeks. I can not complain, my bud charged me $200.00 for the new master cylinder, labor. and some times to road test the car over the week. All is good
