They will fit. First off what year is your car so we know how big of fenders you have. Second off I'm not exactly sure what size tires you need. You want super low pro's or so sidewall and how wide is the rim?

Yes you can put em on. Say goodbye to ride quality unless you totally redo the suspension and brake systems tho.

I don't know man, but I've seen 20's on cars that don't look bad at all. It just depends on the style of the rims.

I wonder if a study has ever been done to determine the ratio of wheel size to wheel opening size and seen what is accepted as "good looking" in survey. Not quite scientific but meh.

it seems the recommended tire size is 255-35-20...

it also seems that the stock tire (215-70-15) diameter is 26.9", and for 255-35-20 it is 27". So, there really shouldn't be any more stress on suspension components than stock wheels. Naturally, ride will be a little bumpier than stock tires, but it really shouldn't be that much worse than a good set of performance tires with stiff sidewalls. I know mine are bumpier than hell, and they are only 60 series. Width could pose a problem, as stock is 6.7", a 235-60-15 upgrade is 7.7", and the 20's are 9.4" wide. I have 9" wide on the back, and it is fine there, but the fronts rub just a hair at full lock with the 7.7" that I have on there. But, it might work out alright, as it's only an extra .85" per side.

im thinking about tis style 07 in a 20x8.5 , a buddy of mine works at ntb and is pretty sure i can run a 255/35-20. and p71towny that would be a great idea but everyone has differant tastes on " looks good " and thers a lot of cars they would have to do

That wide may rub the sway bar at full. My 255's do but mine are way taller than yours.

as for looking good, the Cutlass wheels were abit much, but still not all that bad. The Monte wheels were on the edge... the car color was overboard, but to each their own, and the Chevelle was pretty damn sweeeet...

Enough with the BS- first and last warning.

I've fit 335/35/17s on 10.5" wide wheels all the way around on the wagon, which has a bit more clearance. 20's will clear the front suspension better.

255s should fit fine. Just make sure to get the right backspacing,
