Anyone have experience with removing the hub bearing from the spindel after it's removed from the car? The damn nut won't budge and I'm about to freak out on it...

Big brake style? Use an impact gun or a breaker bar with a cheater pipe. The nut for those is on there pretty darn tight.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

The hub assembly should just slide off, maybe with a light tap. You can press the bearings out of the hub once its off, but they're officially not rebuildable per the factory manuals, and you're supposed to just get a whole hub assembly. I've never pressed the hub apart but I'd bet its just a sealed bearing that could be replaced for not too much.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

K so when I buy a new hub it comes with the bearing already pressed in the hub itself and then just slides on the spindel shaft?Comment

yes, you buy the complete hub assembly with bearings. Just slide it on and put the nut back on.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
