Im sure it's been asked before but what is the widest tire that'll fit on a 15" stock turbine wheel? I have some 275/60-15 on the back with 235/70s on the front right now with goofy aftermarket wheels. Any advice? Thanks!

i would'nt go bigger than a 245/60/15's on turbines, they are only 6.5" wide

The stock 215/70 really isn't bad on stock wheels, you don't want them to be super wide because then they flex a lot on turns. Mine stay fairly stable on turns, and if I don't buy aftermarket wheels i'm gonna stay with this size, also due to them being cheaper. Btw what are these goofy wheels you have and what size?88 Town Car (wrecked, for sale)

yeah I don't think you'd actually benefit in terms of grip past 235 on a stock wheel. maybe 245 (I bow to Scott's experience). The sidewall is already overly big and soft on these cars. Making it try to support tread that's on the outside of the beads doesn't help matters.
