I remember trying to buy a trans mount for my 86. Listings from 80 to 85 and from 88 to 90 but no 86 87. Its the same part. Been stuck on the bearings calipers and pads for an 85 Vic too. Got the right parts by asking for baby ltd stuff.

posting from mah phone. plz to be forgiving bad speeling.

Another one is the autolamp relay that plugs into the 5-pin socket. Ford refuses to correct their listings and therefore none of the parts makers will correct theirs. There's supposed to be a wire out the side where it hangs on the clip for ground and it's supposed to be a single input dual output (switch 2 lines at once) instead of a standard normally open/closed relay action.
Another example. Look up lower control arm bushings for an 86 crown victoria. I bet they're different than 85 and down and 87 and up. But the 86 listing is wrong.

We are in a "let's not fix anything, just throw it out and buy new shit" society. Except for us, of course!!

The shear insulance of these people.

I don't care want anybody says, these cars....you'll never see them built like this again, instant classics, built well, all those who disagree, are brainwashed by automakers now

YEAH THE WAY ROCKAUTO IS is that they won't have 89 lincoln town car conrtol arms but for the comparable CV or MGM... ...that same year, you do. Go figure. Those people that don't know how Panthers are would be highly discouraged. The AC delco prof series complete control arms are a good deal (and include the greasable ball joints and bushings!!!)))

Anyways, I need to get the front end fixed, this is higher in my priorities than the 3G alternator upgrade and the headlight relay upgrade.

Rock Auto has the control arms, just need to change the balljoints out if you're keeping the stock box stuff. The lower control arms are the same up through 2002. You can also get the upper control arm (for big brake swap) by buying 98 upper control arms and (2) 92-94 control arm shaft.
