fixed the ATC, removed the blower lockout, still very little heat?!

So I noticed when the car is heated up all the way, the air coming out of the vents is just not that hot, not near as hot as it should be. I just replaced the ATC with a new one from Ford, and I have removed the blower lockout. What on earth is left that is keeping me from burning hot heat?

what thermostat are you using? does it get better if you unhook the vacuum line from the blend door motor? also, did you adjust the cable properly when installing the atc sensor? theres an arrow on the sensor body that lines up with the arm. The temperature lever should be mid-scale when those line up. The sample tube also has to be hooked up and clear. Thats the larger white plastic one that hooks to the side of the sensor. You should feel air blowing out of this with the blower running.

Only other thing that comes to mind past that is a clogged heater core.
