Got an interesting problem for you guys. 1995 Grand Marquis. I do not use the car everyday (maybe once or twice a week) and sometimes it will not start. No lights, keyless entry doesn't work - not even the light under the hood works. No start, no clicks....NOTHING! Like someone removed the battery. I hook up a portable charger to it and the lights come on IMMEDIATELY and it starts up REALLY quick. Checked bat, alternator (both new), terminals (may change them just in case) but they are clean/tight and so are the bat terminals. New FORD starter and wiring to it are new. Checked grounds and found no issues. Clean and tight. Checked for lights staying on and parasitic draws and again nothing. Anybody got an idea as to where to look next. Somewhere else or I missed something in my analysis. Dealer has had it in addition to several shops and no one has found it. By the way, I have had the car since Jan '09 and have put 3 batteries in it...they can't ALL be bad, can they???? Bobby

I think it is an entire harness on this car. Not like the older ones where the Pos and Neg go to a Starter Solenoid/ground and it was simple. We are talking about changing the entire thing??
