Anyone know the Motorcraft part numbers for oxygen sensors after the cat? 1991 GM

    Hi,
Does anyone know what the Motorcraft part numbers are for the downstream O2 sensors?
What length would the wires be?

This is for a dual exhaust 1991 Grand Marquis.
Are HO sensors the same part number?

    I thank you again,
    Mike

Downstream o2 sensors? Only sensors you should have are in the manifolds.

fill with plugs then (or old sensors with the wires cut off). Only OBD-II cars (96+) are required to have those or were even equipped in the first place.

There is no spoon. The sensors are upstream only. Plug the new holes. If they did not put any upstream have them fix it.

posting from mah phone. plz to be forgiving bad speeling.

Since you are using the Mustang H-pipe, the 02 sensors should screw in to the original location for the sensors on that pipe. As noted, you do need a longer pigtail to plug in the sensors. when install Mustang H-pipe on my car, I extended the wires on the original sensors, but later learned the Mustang/Mark 7 sensors already come with a longer pigtail.

The motorcraft part # for the mark7 sensors is DY-606

If the exhaust shop installed new bungs after the cats for the sensor location, this is 100% wrong. The sensors should be as close to the exhaust manifold as possible. In the manifold is actually better because its more accurate.

Also make sure the correct side sensor is plugged into the correct side of the harness, there is a left and right and it matters which is which. If you cross them and plug the right harness into the left sensor it will totally screw up your fuel trims. Ask John aka 86VickyLX... he knows all about this.
