How do ya remove water spots?

Okay. I just got a 68 Torino GT. Nice lookin car, but the glass looks like shit. I can't seem to find anything to remove the water spots. I've tried SOS pads, Rubbing compound, I even tried to buff it out. I don't know what else to try or look for. If anyone could help me out a bit that would be great. Thanks guys

Perhaps try a clay bar on it if you happen you have one laying around. I used that on my glass before, mainly for overspray.

Newspaper cleans glass really well without the lint like you'd get from paper towels. I often do the windows with a bucket of warm water & ammonia and newspaper.
