Visual mod ideas for my 97 grand marquis

No ideas at all hardly. I was thinking a pair of 17 inch chrome torq thrusts but i seen them on a car of the same color of mine and didnt really like them .. I want chrome rims, around 16-17 inch but i have a budget of $700 and even thats pushing it. Mustang rims wouldn't be bad, do they directly fit on? Also, what else could i do for visual mods? I have marauder like tips on it, my windows are tinted 5%, getting white letter tires but besides that im not sure where to go. I want to keep a clean look though, not a bunch of tacky stuff. I have a 97 grand marquis in a light green color.

You could try to locate a set of these.

These were available for a number of years and will bolt right onto your car. IMHO they would look nice with your shade of green.

            06 gt wheels

I just installed a set of 06 Mustang GT wheels on my 99 GM. They are 17 x 8 inch, but require 30 mil spacers on all four, which are expensive. But they do look awesome along with the kyb's and police springs in the rear. Mine is red.

You can try using VHT Nightshade paint to darken your front and rear lenses for a more sinister look. It's a pretty simple mod and would look good with the green paint. Cheap too.

You could paint the lip of your HPP rims gold. It would look good with the GM's green paint.

Heres 2 pics of the car. Im cutting the bumper a bit to raise the tips into it so it looks a bit better, not a huge fan of how they look right now. I lost the thrush sticker and the mudflaps, 5% tint on the front windows as well. Im doing a little body work to it to make sure it doesnt end up rusting out on me (preventitive stuff), if i have any money left over im going to try and find a set of mustang rims that will look nice on the car.

If you drive this car in the winter, undercoating is recommended!

I want a set of t/a's, my dads friend who owes him a few favors can get me some tires for next to nothing .. my dad just got all new good year tires on his truck.

Also, this car has been rust checked and oiled every year before it was put away, odd, but the frame and everything is great. Theres only one spot where theres rust really and its on the actual trunk i noticed it when i took my trailer hitch off.
