    Painted Wheels

I got metallic brake pads for the Ranger. I noticed that they dirty the stock wheels in short order. I am looking into getting stock whale body CV/MGM steel wheels to use for the winter. I will clean whatever wheels I get and paint them. What paint will hold up to repeated heavy duty cleaning?

    How about engine paint?

I guess I could use that. I will probably have to experiment a bit. Normally when I paint engine parts, they don't get washed that often. My Ranger engine has been painted for over a year and I only just cleaned it a couple weeks ago.

I painted my winter wheels in 2009 and have used them every winter since, they still look fine. I didn't use anything special, just rustoleum satin black.
        Then:

        This year:
1989 Country Squire - Twilight Blue, 347 stroker

2005 Crown Victoria Sport - Black - Stainless Works full exhaust with Borla Pro XS mufflers, BBK 75mm TB, Accufab plenum, CVPI airbox, Heinous control arms, etc...
