    Body Panels

I was told that the box Grand Marquis and box Crown Vic fenders are the same. Is this true? There is 1 box MGM in the junkyard that I believe is clean on the passenger side. I will nab the rear fender if it works on the CV.

Hardly seen member 2Kool had a car that the front of was a box Grand Marquis and the rear was a Crown Victoria. I called it the Crown Marquis. Totally doesn't answer your question though... so, um, disregard.

should be the same 81 or 82-87 (when the mercs didn't have the vents). The part that made the mercs longer was the header panel and front bumper mounts/frame. 88-91 have those different molding mounts on the mercs.

THanks SLY. Next time I go to the JY, I will get whatever fenders are in good condition.

Chuck Norris: No disregard. I like that better; Crown Marquis. Grand(e) Victoria is more fitting for the Merc as the nose is a little longer according to SLY

Did you really mean the rear fender? The Qtr panel?

4dr GM is the same 80-87 and 88-91
4dr CV is the same 79-87 and 88-91 with vinyl and 88-91 WO vinyl
not sure what is different about them but they are different part #'s
