About 4 months ago I painted the steering wheel column black all except for the part that is closest too the wheel a while ago. Last night I found some of the paint I used on the dash face and the other part of the column and I decided I would find out how to get the rest of the cover off. It just slides right off with a little bit of pressure...
Don't mind the RCA running on the floor to the amp for my components, I need to get a longer one and go under the carpet...
Here is the 89 dash front I got off eBay for $9. It was originally dark blue, so I decided to paint it black and go for that two tone interior look. Taping all that shit off was a beast! I also decided to use my 81' vents for it. It seemed to give it a better touch.
Mounted my crossovers to my components in the kick panels. You can also see my speaker grills I modded into the doors, I am going to take them off soon and paint them black, they need it. You can also see some screw holes where the previous owner had some ghetto power window motor, ugh I took that off the first day I got the car. I kind of wish I would of kept it though :-p.
