Here we go...got some pics for ya!

Interior, before Alpine head unit, gauges, better door speakers, and pedal covers:

      Gauges:

      Tach:

      Engine (pre-Mass Air)

Engine (post-Mass Air), you'll also notice that this was before I pulled the A/C system. Oh, and if you look up towards the cruise control where the black canister is supposed to be, it's not, I moved that to a less conspicuous place as well.

Exterior the paint oxidized pretty badly on the hood, roof, and trunk, so I've used 80 grit sand paper to work it off down to the undercoat

That's all I've got time to put up now...I'll get pics of the rear suspension, exhuast, and such up later tonight. Enjoy!!

        to GMN!
        oooh...looks very nice!
I can't wait to see a set of Marauder wheels on Box MGM! especially one like that!('83-'97 style)
I know there's someone on here with a '83-'97 Silver Vic with 'Rauder wheels, but I don't know who it is...
I really like that style of the MGM...very aggressive front end..looks great as a Hot Rod...like BigBlueTank...'97 MGM that runs 11.4 in the 1/4mile!

we look forward to seeing your Merk!

Question for you about the suicides...Did you use a kit? How long did it take, what all did it involve...Et cetera et cetera...Details man!

I'm thinking that you mean '87, not '97.

He hasn't done it yet, silly. :p Reread the first post--suicidal doors are in the future mods section.

Ah. Gotcha. Didn't catch the "What I plan on doing" thing the first time through. Lotsa words, easy to miss.

Okay then...Disregard whatever I may have said in relations to suicides.

How's that for a rear sway bar pic? If you don't like it...it's the only one I could find..so I'd have to take more.

Oh, and if you want to see various and sundry pics that i've taken of her there's my Picassa Web Album

Looks good. I wanted to compare it to the PI rear bar.

Looks as if I'm gonna be saving this box as well, (sometime later this month or in early January), and building it up into my next DD. Since it needs a new paintjob anyway, I'm probibly gonna turn it into a Slicktop as well.

                        I'm Excited.

Well mangs, Brandon, aka LTDMan83, came down today and took Big Red home to live with him. She's in good hands now and I hope she enjoys her new life.

I suspect he'll be starting a new thread...since it's his "new" ride and all...

She is indeed in good hands mang. I will be keeping her given name as well

I promise as well, that any mods I do to the car, will not be distasteful. I also take back what I said earlier about putting the TC seats in the car. After taking a better look at the interior, I have decided to completely restore the stock Red Velour seats and interior. I will start a thread for the car soon, which will be regularly updated, so that you can always come on GMN anytime, and check out what is going on with Big Red.
