The before rust looks similar to my wagon. Crap just growing in the middle of the door.

Turbines make it look 10X better.

      Where'd your fan come from?

Good work fixing up that old merk! Same color combo as my last car.

What is that thing mounted behind the washer fluid reservoir?

If you mean in the before pics, the thing behind the washer reservoir is the air pump for the auto-levelling shocks. I plan to do an air-ride suspension some day. I like the auto-levelling, but the air shocks all suck compared to the IAS Performers (I love them). So I removed it. I am thinking I will go with the newer reservoir (got one), but need to figure out what to do about the rad overflow since I don't have a fan shroud anymore. Then maybe a cold air intake in that spot.

I got the fans off a windstar.I am only using one of them right now, figured I'd make the other come on when AC is on or something... the one keeps the engine very cool.

I like turbines. Gonna blast and repaint those over the summer, one at a time. I want something larger some day, but for now they are good.

here's a bad pic of my dash. It is much more blue in real life
