Sweet car! Sounds great. Once that engine breaks in it will only get faster.
        Congrats again!

                  lol..yea...
but I drove well over 120miles for sure...and lots of tuning..high ass idle..all that junk.

but that many miles is what I would drive in about...a week or so..maybe a little more.

but I tell ya...with the power it has...and th whole experience...its worth it for sure mangs...FOR SURE!

same here...I gots to fix my driver's door lock...it dont lock.

but meh..I dont need no alarm...no thug would know how to get it outta Park. ..or even start a carb'd car...and with that high idle...I'd hear it.

I was thinking about remote keyless entry...

oh, Dave...if you drop a HO motor in your Vic, we can call it the Ford MPV(Mustang Powered Vic)

Haha, you should see the looks the valet folks at Coyote Joe's give me when I tell them I want my keys - first they are like nooo, we'll bring it here for you, then when I tell them tis the orange Chevy they are like ah, old-school, yeah here are yer keys, good like starting it - love it, never have to pay tips Yer car is easy, press on the gas 3 times then turn the key, choke is automatic - my bitch is all manual, unless you know how to operate it there ain't no way in hell that engine fires up, especially if tis kinda-sorta chilly outside.

Actually no, if you have the right type of carb and set it up halfway decent and yer ignition system is kinda-sorta good you can see pretty good results, just ask Jon about his truck which also happens to be older than many of the members here

You can get decent mileage out of a carb, but it must be properly tuned. The big bonus to EFI is its basically self-tuning. It also makes for effort free starts, no changes due to weather or altitude, and self-diagnostics. Personally I don't like dealing with carbs, especially Holleys. Too much crap to tinker with. I'd much rather have a basic metering rod arrangement instead of the power valves and all that nonsense.
