351w back when they were c.i.and had carbs. Motor is stockwith the exception of intentive porting and polishing, carb makeover and a Crane kit with roller rockers and push rods.Didnot want to do the cam,Wanted to be able to use it as a grub getter.
Acel plugs wires and coil.Put a tranny kit in it to get that 85 mph 3rd gear shift. Mustang shorty headers with 2 and half inch duals with a xpipe to replace the h pipe,Magnaflow mufflers. Puts out about 300 hp.

                awesome car man
Give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will promptly forget that he once did not know, and proceed to call anyone who asks, a n00b and flame them on the boards for being stupid.

Nice! I had a beater '79 wagon for a few years, so I'm somewhat partial to that model year. We're also waiting on a membership from a guy who just bought a '79 two-door "S" model in that same color scheme here in Michigan. I told his seller on eBay to send him here, so hopefully he'll show up ....
