Interesting! Looks like a lower-option model similar to mine, except with cruise and split bench. I notice a PRND21 shift indicator, too; I thought by '81 they all came with AODs.

What's the range on the speedo? Looks like it goes higher than 85mph.

Funny. That wasn't the standard KPH speedo though, was it? I thought 140kph was more common.

That's different. Mine goes to 180KM as well, but I think it says 120MPH instead of just ending at 110, and I know it doesn't have the yellow line past 100K.

i understand the c4 is just fine for the stock 302 but will need to be upgraded a bit with engine mods?

Depends heavily on what you intend to do with it. The guys who built my C4 said it should be just fine with, say, 300hp, but I know the power-handling capability is limited once you start making actual power.

I wonder if the moss growing in the window seals has caused a rust issue. It seems to me that it would trap and hold water.

oh yes, moss is a great water recepticle. On a rainy day you can actually get a drink of water from moss, as the moss also acts as a filter (i watch a lot of survivorman )

it's only just a few spots

northern climates mean low humidity, short summers and black spruce forests with lots of ground water and moss/lichen

it was undercoated at one time and parked on gravel so i should be ok

she still needs a bath though
