Just a sneak peak of my new wheels. I will be putting them on after I get spacers. They are 18 inch but only about 1 inch taller then what I have on there right now. I think its gonna look pretty good.
Also in other news I installed a rear sway bar, the same day I had to pay $70 for a tow since one of the u joints sized up. it was squealing so loud i couldnt here my self think. Im shocked it never broke. I replaced them both. only cost me about $35 plus 45 mins of my time.
Now that I sold my 79 to a freind, I can focus primarly on fixing up the lincoln

Lookin good. Bout time someone on here did something different to their car other than buffing up their grille and say it gave them 300 extra horse power.

I just joined on here the other day....awesome to see another Londoner on the forums! I grew up in Byron, went to Oakridge S.S. Lived in London for 18 years until moving to Guelph for school and now working there. Love your '80! Aside from those new rims... heh but to each his own. Undertaking the frame swap is pretty awesome, that body deserves it. You said this car only has ~80,000km on it? Nice!

Is that the Dundas cruise night at Canadian Tire? I'll have to roll by there with my new '87 CV when I'm home seeing family.

                            Well here is an update.
So far I got the '69 4 bbl intake along with a 4300 motorcraft carb. and some new intake gaskets.
I had to fool around with the TV rod a bit but is now shifting properly. Still need to finish setting up the carb and timming. Here are some pics. (Mind the blue underside of the air cleaner. Ran out of burgundy paint.)

Well I decided to ditch the '66 toronado air cleaner since the lid was sitting about 1/4 of an inch or less from the carb. cutting off air big time. So I took my factory air cleaner polished the air cleaner its self, and modded it for 2 snorkles. here is a pic.
