The only thing my doc would do is give me more anti-inflammatory or muscle relaxers and tell me to have a good one. I leaned back against the headrest just as I got hit so I didn't get the whip effect. I think I'll be fine.

That sucks, but at least you got pics and whatnot in case there is any question about what happened.

Do see the doctor Jeffrey, he's a good man, and thorough.

Bonus points for anyone who gets the reference.

The bumper cover just needs buffed and paint. No cracks/breaks. The real bumper is bent back about 4 inches at the bottom and 1-2 at the top of it. That's really the only piece that NEEDS to be replaced. I think he was going about 40 (what everyone was doing in that general pack) and screeched down to about 30. I also don't think my foot was holding the brake real hard which is why I got jolted so much and the car didn't get more damage. The Camry drove away. It was fine except for all the front works and bent hood. My hitch centered the bumper on the Camry, I have a good heavy scratch across the top of the receiver tube to about 3 inches in. So the real bumper on the Camry actually did some good for it. The lights were pretty much toast though. The headlights were pointed in the wrong direction but still functional, but the blinkers were gone.

I'm also feeling fine today except for an obnoxious muscle not in my back... but I worked on that this morning and it's chilling out now.

Bummer. What a total idiot. Probably texting while driving too. Bumpercovers are typically non repairable. I've seen it done with filler and never liked the results. The bumperbar underneath is probably bent, straighten that and the cover might be fine, doesn't look all that bad. Glad the toaster is out of commission, he braked so hard his core support took it all, which is nice and soft. How fast do you think he was going?

If it's still giving me issues in the morning... I'm going to see the doc tomorrow.

Well that could have been much worse. That bumper cover looks like it could be straightened out and repainted, or replaced with another if need be. I'd check the bumper shock absorbers since those might need to be replaced just in case something happens again. I love the fact there's a strong bumper bar under the cover that carries the 5 MPH impact rating. On the plus side, you did eliminate the nose of a refrigerator on wheels.

Hopefully your head stops hurting, and if it doesn't, please don't put off going and seeing a doctor.

I got a thumbs up about the box from some other folks while I was there as well. It always gets good reactions.

Paint looks purty good still. I'm starting to wonder how the aeros stack up against the GM stuff of similar years. Never drove one of those. I did drive a '89 Caprice though. Blew it up on the expressway. That was comfy and rode well but I hated the filler neck; it was under the license plate. Don't know why the expected old timers with bum knees to get down there. I'm old enough to remember the mid 90's and I don't remember very many gas station attendants.
