    Got Handsome detailed!

Now we're all ready for the cruise on Saturday, and the weekly Friday night car shows at the bowling alley. =-D

Wow, he looks brand new now. The detailing shop did a great job, and for $84!
Lol, they had no idea how big of a car it was when I called and got a quote.
Guess, I'll never get him detailed that cheap ever again... and they used meguiars wax, which is what I probably would have used if I had done it myself... But having just had two teeth pulled, I did not feel like washing and waxing a car.

Went out cruisin' and showin' him off all evening yesterday. =-)

Saw an awesome pink and black Ford Fairlane Crown Vic at the pre-cruise Big Boy car show too last night.

    Anyway - Pics.

Can you believe that shine? Who knew that 30 year old paint could look that good?

    Wow, that looks amazing!!!

Yea, detail shops around here want $100-$150 for a full detail on my car, and they clean everything, engine bay and all. But Id say you got a great deal lol.

Thank-you! I did a happy dance when I saw it at first right after it was detailed. I really didn't think it would clean up that nice, that paint was so dull before! I can see myself in it now.

That oldschool paint shines up really well, unless it's shot.
Give it a good coat of some carnuba based wax a few times a year ant it'll stay looking good for quite a while yet.

Looks good, reminds me my car is overdue for a hand glaze. Takes about 4 hours to do, but that 3m imperial makes the paint shine up nicely. For original paint that thing looks damn good though.

now all it needs is the front plate given a little flat back to it. Looks like that plate has had a few rough days.

Awesome car all around. I miss the 79 351 vic my mom had.

Thanks everyone. I'm quite proud of this car.
I really can't complain for $750. It's one of those once in a life time finds.

Oh... BTW... Anyone notice my neighbor's vic in the background of the last pic? His is in great shape too.

Yeah, my fiance is suppose to be unbending that for me. I'm glad that plate was there though when the previous owners had it, because otherwise that front bumper might not look so good. LOL.

Beautiful! look at that. Bumpers like mirrors and glossy deep panels.

wow, that's weird. Magna cost me $750 when I bought it too. The guy wanted $1100 but I talked him down a little.
