That wagon is magnificent! Those cars are soul mates! Is the gold snorkle stock? What's the meteor package give ya?

The gold is stock. It's not a perfect match but close. It used to be that gold zinc coating.

The meteor is basically just a left over vin code. It's a plain stripped down model. This one has some ordered options so it's not completly base but it is a crank window car with no power locks (except the tail gate)

              Super nice!

Does it say 'Meteor' on the back?

No dosent say meteor on the car anywhere but it's is by definition in all the paperwork for a Marquis sold in Canada through the vin number

The goldish color is yellow zinc chromate. They actually sell spray paint in that color, don't know how close it really is tho.

                      Nice clean car BTW.

Exactly. The kit is very expensive to do that. Atleast the one that remotly looks correct. Eastwood makes it. I will eventually try it but for now this works to protect it.

I've seen the zinc chromate kits used. The results were good, but it was done by a guy who is something of a wizard with spraybombs.

I don't think one could ask for a more perfect pair of cars...except if you wanted to throw an '81 tudor into the mix.

                            Beautiful cars!
