Well I dropped some cash on the old girl last night. Picked up almost everything I want/need for the T5 swap, the only things I didnt order last night where new brake/clutch pedal pads, and an aluminum driveshaft.
So last night I orderded all this stuff from www.50resto.com
ram hdx master clutch/flywheel kit
clutch fork
pivot ball stud
urathane trans mount
urathane trans crossmember to unibody bushings
adjustable clutch quadrant kit
hurst short shifter with chrome stick and classic white ball
for a grand total of $780 ouch lol
I also purchased a storage building today to put my motorcycles and some other stuff in. So that should free up some space in work garage for the mustang. I'm thinking I should have enough money when I get my taxes back to buy the turbo kit and other goodies. I will keep you guys in the loop and take pics of everything as usual.
id love a storage building. could work on my panthers year round.

Small update. I got the clutch pedal assembly pulled out of the donor last night. Terrible experience, been sitting outside for 2 years with all the windows busted out, so I got to lay in a water/glass/mold soup while I was doing this. Anyway gonna prep the stang for the swap next week. Swap the pedals out and pull the exhaust off and do everything else I can to get it ready, so next weekend I can just pull it in swap trannys and roll in drive it back out in one day. Pics later or tomorrow.
I would like to, but I don't have time. Soooo it's getting cleaned up at work and painted with base/clear paint. PPG waterbase to be exact because that's what we spray at work.
Well, I thought I should update since I was on here. The car is now a t5 car lol (more on this in a sec). I also got a new set of wheels and tires, if youre my friend on facebook you have seen them. The are 15x3.5 pro stars on the front with 165 tires and 15x10 pro stars on the rear with 275/60/15 mickey thompson drag radials on them.
I got everything back together and had drove it a little bit 10 miles here 10 miles there. I was out cruising around one day probably about mile 70 on the new set up. I had already done a couple test launches a few weeks back just playing with the settings on the rear shocks and the tire air pressure (for the street). I had it dialed in pretty good at this point I was just playing with the launch rpm, gradually increasing until it launched like I wanted and didnt bog.
Anyway I stopped by my buddies house one day with it and he was about to take his harley out for a ride. '07 electra glide ultra classic, stripped to look like a street glide. So I propositioned him for a race. He agreed and we went to our normal secluded 1/4 (private closed road). Lined up and went, I launched at 3200 rpm and it bogged so hard it almost quit, he got about 10-15 feet on me right off the bat because of this, I got it wound back up and gained 5-10 feet back on him, hit 2nd stayed the same distance through second neither one of us could pull away, slammed it into 3rd and boom pow crunch lol, shattered 3rd gear in the poor little t5 lol. I popped it in nuetral and coasted off the road, no noises idleing or with the clutch out so I assumed it was a gear. made all kinds of noise once I started moving again. I limped it home very slowly banging and crunching the whole way. Now it sits in the garage waiting for me to get time to yank the tranny and inspect.
So how bout some pics
sneaking up on a yummy snack
My photo bucket is messing up at the moment more of the actual build later.
You should put the auto back in it and sell me the clutch pedal assy.
