Must have been ordered by a guy, sexist as that sounds.
From what I was told, the car is originally from North Carolina. It was brought up here sometime in the last few years, the guy who brought it up here was letting his wife drive it until she got a DUI with his kids in the car. He took the keys away and it sat for a long time, then the guy I bought it from bought it. Or something like that. Either way, it certainly hasn't seen a winter, or at least not many.

I've been wanting to make a street/strip car for a while now, and while I would have preferred a box panther, I think this car may fit the build. 460/c6/9", a perfect drivetrain combo, nice rust free chassis, and while it is a monster, it only weighs 4200lbs, hardly more then a 03+ panther. It defiantly has potential.

Vinyl tops are for AARP members and those who like holes in their roof (of which this car has a few, hence it's removal).

Nice potential. The paint is a little rough to be a cruiser but as a street-strip bruiser, a lot of fun.

You could probably get it to Panther weight with aluminum top end bits and a little creative swiss-cheesing.

Ditching the cast iron intake alone should help a lot.

Vid update from earlier today, pre slicktop.

Oh sweet peaches that car has potential. The 460 has more aftermarket support than you'll need to build it up right. I'm with you on the slicktop, I would have torn the top off my Lincoln if it had any imperfections, but I can't remove a perfect top, i'm a wimp like that.

Do like SofaKingFast did and rip the cats off, then install glasspack and let it roar
