bout 3 hours.. uuuughh.. had to drop it off for the 3rd time. spray the inside of the tranny to get it to stop drippin fluid so i could make the gasket get a good seal. then got it back up in there.

Nice LTD! The values on those late-70's Ford barges seem to be going up now. I wouldn't mind snagging a '77-'79 Continental while they're still relatively cheap! But filling up my '89 is painful enough already

Have you thought of installing those lights that go on the undersides of the doors? I don't know what they're called, but when you open a door they project something like a Ford logo onto the ground.
