I've already posted a couple times about my car but since the big power is mostly there and done, I'm starting a new thread to document the little jobs to get this all the way to a finished weekend cruiser.
First up is AC. I deleted it all when I first installed the junkyard twin turbos back in like 2000. I needed room and I did not have the tools or skills to make it all work together. Now that it's single turbo and packaged better though, I think there is room to fit the compressor:

I grabbed a junkyard compressor from a 1998 Vic in the junkyard as I assume technology progressed, the outlets are in a better location and I can get aftermarket adapters, and the compressor is a little smaller. In the pic I have it on some wood mockup bits. One on the compressor and one on the head. The length on the compressor side it correct as verified by my fancy new laser belt alignment tool. I just have to decide on where to stick it and the angle.
I got in the condenser today. That will be fun to make fit. There is now an intercooler in the way. I think I might be able to sneak the condenser in front of the intercooler though by remaking some brackets and moving the oil cooler forward. Moving the intercooler is possible but then I need to remake and reweld the intercooler piping. Which again, is doable.
I will need to pull the engine to install the evaporator core. I removed the original last time the engine was out to save weight. It's fine, I need to fix a leak from the oil pan anyway.
Then I will need to make custom lines. Not an issue I think. Crimping tools are not that bad and fittings/hose are readily available.
Currently the blower motor doesn't work at all. Even for heat. So that needs attention. And I'll need to recreate the wiring in the engine compartment. Who knows where any of it is at this point. But it's not a complex circuit.
