I don’t find any obvious way to dumb down the photo on the phone from which I would upload the photos from.

Yeah... most phones don't seem to understand "resize". Gotta go into photo settings on the camera app and tell it to take lower MP pictures. I dump my stuff to the computer and use some paint program to resize stuff.

I may have to look further into that then.

I sure dont want to dump them to the computer and resize each and everyone individually. Thats not a good time.

I believe you can choose to upload a smaller picture directly from the iPhone. Once you select your picture to upload, go to the options box in the lower left. Then it will give you upload size options.
