What sucks is that it's not gonna get much warmer than the 40s, at least this week. Good news, though... I'm gonna end up ripping the rear deck apart again because the Kappas are vibrating the deck through the thick carpet, anyway.

I need to do something about my front doors. I have 5 1/4" subs in there, and they rattle when they strike the louder bass hits...Maybe I'll put in some carpeting or something, cause I like to do good things with cheap stuff.

I'm only running cheap speakers, but I've had good luck with the sealed MDF speaker boxes I bought at Wal-Mart. Maybe with some bracing a pair of those could be mounted to the underside of the package shelf to cure the rattling issues? Just a thought.

See my comment to P74, but unfortunately I've not seen off-the-shelf enclosures for smaller speakers. I had the same problem even with the 4" coaxials I tried in my doors. I spent some time trying to design little enclosures for them, but eventually gave up because I had bigger fish to fry. I've acquired some of those little factory pod things to mount the speakers a little more nicely (I don't have speaker mounts planned for the custom dash I keep not building), so maybe in the future I can just seal those up on the back side with more plastic and call it good.
